Tuberculosis (TB) is primarily spread through the air by aerosol droplets that are formed by coughing, sneezing and talking. Poorly ventilated rooms have the highest risk of infection.
Symptoms of tuberculosis can include:
- Lack of appetite
- Night sweating
- Shortness of breath
- Cough
- General weakness
- Fever
- Loss of body mass
- Coughing up blood
- Chest pain
- Shaking
