Lyme IgG/IgM rapid test

A quick guide to performing this test:

• The test requires the support of a healthcare professional:
  1. provide additional sample collection tools;
  2. a blood sample is taken (both venipuncture, finger prick and capillary blood are suitable)

Procedure:

1. Unpack the test cassette from the sealed foil package and place it side by on a flat surface.
2. Prepare a dropper/pipette and draw 5 microlitres of plasma/serum or 10 microlitres of whole blood sample.
3. Transfer to the sample well (S) of the test cassette.
4. Apply 3 drops of test buffer (in well B).
5. Start the timer for 10 minutes.

• POSITIVE: A coloured line appears in area (C) and areas (IgG) and/or (IgM).
• NEGATIVE: The coloured line appears ONLY in area (C).
• INVALID: The coloured line appears ONLY in the (IgG) and/or (IgM) regions.

All used components of the kit are handled according to local requirements.
