A quick guide to performing this test:
- The test requires the support of a healthcare professional:
- provide additional sample collection tools;
- a blood sample is taken (both venipuncture, finger prick and capillary blood are suitable)
Procedure:
- Unpack the test cassette from the sealed foil package and place it side by on a flat surface.
- Prepare a dropper/pipette and draw 5 microlitres of plasma/serum or 10 microlitres of whole blood sample.
- Transfer to the sample well (S) of the test cassette.
- Apply 3 drops of test buffer (in well B).
- Start the timer for 10 minutes.
- POSITIVE: A coloured line appears in area (C) and areas (IgG) and/or (IgM).
- NEGATIVE: The coloured line appears ONLY in area (C).
- INVALID: The coloured line appears ONLY in the (IgG) and/or (IgM) regions.
All used components of the kit are handled according to local requirements.
